Building Narratives through Sculpture

Take an introspective and analytical journey in to the narratives behind sculptures through this lecture-style workshop.

The session will give you a chance to explore your own ideas and serve as an outlet for creativity, whilst also fostering a space of learning, forming concepts in conjunction with contemporary art sculpture.
If you have a joy for making, a pre-existing interest in art and want to expand your skills using alternative materials then this workshop is for you!

Please bring a 2D image or photo made by you or another artist, we will use this as a jumping point to begin understanding and expanding your practice.

This is a 2 hour workshop with a short break in the middle. Workshop includes a warm up exercise, some brief lecture-style learning, two analysing tasks, and two making exercises to explore materials then create your very own piece to take home.

This is a no pressure workshop, just come with a will to learn and a passion to create! All materials are provided and work can be taken home at the end of the session or within a week once dried.
