Collage Book Club

One thing we’ve learned is that creating and making with other people often comes hand in hand with great conversation, sharing life’s stories, and connecting with people on a deeper level. So when we met Leah from @verysmallbookshopbristol we knew we wanted tobring people together and give them a common thread on which to connect. So we’re introducing the Collage Book Club!

The concept is straightforward:
1: you book a spot for the session and the price includes the specially selected book (either for collection at A Very Small Book Shop in Willway yard, or home delivery)
2: read the book
3: gather together at Studio Pachira to discuss experiences of reading the book whilst we create a collaged piece of art as a reflection of the read! Leah will lead the conversation and we will be there to creatively help bring the work to life using source material from vintage magazines & newspapers.

An approach to reading with a unique outcome which will always remind you of the experience!

The first book that Leah has chosen is I Hope This Finds You Well by Natalie Sue - a fresh and surprisingly tender debut about loneliness and love beyond our computer screens.
